Women’s Program

The Riverplace Women’s Program is a minimum 130 hours of primary outpatient chemical dependency treatment (also known as Intensive Outpatient).  Similar to the men’s program in focus on freedom and dignity, Riverplace Elk River is a separate campus where women may feel secure in addressing women’s issues related to their use of alcohol or other drugs.

Women who have the opportunity to enroll in this program share they immediately feel welcome, comfortable, secure and a definite sense of belonging. This non-institutional atmosphere is ideal for meaningful discussion of the specific effects of the use of alcohol or other drugs and a wide variety of women’s issues. There is abundant space for intimate group discussion, the privacy of counselor offices, educational presentations and for visiting with family or concerned persons.
